• Modern House Number Giveaway

January 20, 2020

Can your modern house use new numbers for the new year?

We’re working with our friends at Modern Capital to give away a new set of modern house numbers to someone that really deserves it. This is an international contest so if you have modern loving friends here or abroad, let them know.

Follow all of these steps to compete:

1. Follow me @housenumberlab and our friends at @moderncapital on Instagram.

2. Share a picture of your current house number on Instagram (your account needs to be on ‘public’).

3. Tag @housenumberlab and @moderncapital in the picture, so we can find it

4. Use the magic hashtag: #awesomehousenumbers (also so we can find you!)

If you like, send additional images of your home and numbers to hello@housenumberlab.com.

The top three winners get new house numbers customized to their delight!

We love the Atomic Drift (pictured below), which plays off the mid-century numbers that actually used wood as the backdrop. These were and are very common to homes dating from the 40s to 60s and even today.

“Numbers are the only typography on your house,” says Glenn Milano, who started the House Number Lab in 2011 when he couldn’t find a proper sign for his Wardman-style townhouse on Capitol Hill. “You can put a mindless number up there to get the job done.
